The Catholic Church teaches that marriage between two baptized persons is a sacrament which expresses, in a unique way, the unbreakable bond of love between Christ and His Church. In a sacramental marriage, God’s love becomes present to the spouses in their total union and flows through them to their family and community. The four characteristics that make up a Christian Marriage, namely that it is free, total, faithful, and fruitful, reveal something of God’s unconditional love towards His people.

Couples must contact the Parish Office six or more months in advance of the anticipated wedding date to begin preparation for the sacrament of Holy Matrimony.
