This commission is tasked to identify the spiritual growth needs of parishioners in all stages of life, to promote and develop ministries to fulfill those needs, to elevate the Liturgy, to promote the sacraments, and in particular, reverence for the Eucharist. Ministries and activities include:

Altar servers assist in the celebration of Mass by ministering at the altar and participating in liturgical processions.

Assist in enhancing the beauty of the church throughout the liturgical seasons.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are entrusted to perform a special function for members of the parish family. Assist the priest in the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and bring Christ to those who are unable to attend Mass due to illness, etc.

Our parish is blessed to be able to sustain Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration.

During the weekend Masses, Holy Days of Obligation and special liturgies, gift bearers bring to the altar the gifts of bread and wine, as well as the offering of the faithful.

This ministry serves our Hispanic community by providing resources to assist with participation in the Liturgy and the sacraments, as well as overall spiritual growth, including translation services, Spanish materials, and cultural events to celebrate the Hispanic Catholic tradition.

Proclaim the Word of God during parish liturgies.

The Legion of Mary is a lay apostolate association of men and women in the Catholic Church who, with the sanction of the Church and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of All Graces, serve the Church and their neighbor on a voluntary basis.

Music for the Liturgy acts to serve the needs of the Liturgy, and therefore must be carefully chosen and prepared.

Sacristans work closely with the Pastor to prepare the church vessels, vestments, gifts and altar for each Mass.

This prayer group meets on Thursdays 9-10am in the adoration chapel to pray the rosary.

This prayer ministry is a call to strengthen the Church by ensuring that a Holy Hour is prayed each day of the week for the sole intention of a specific priest or bishop—a “holy wasting” (cf. Mt. 26:10) or lavishing of prayer for his deeper conformity to Christ. In short, members commit to one holy hour a week praying specifically for her assigned priest.

This group meets (during the school year) at 9am on Tuesdays in the adoration chapel to pray the rosary for schoolchildren.

Show hospitality and a welcoming spirit as the community enters the church. Assist persons in being seated, distribute and pick up materials and gather the offering.
